how can we even migrate content if the pages are being deleted and thus cannot be accessed???

im pretty sure they hold actual information in them that would be hard to recover

like did anyone consider that?

The pages being deleted now are ones I flagged as not having any information that needed to be migrated.

You can view the code of any deleted page via the deletion log. Images from all the pages already deleted or slated for deletion are being stored here.

This is actually only true for admins. But if somebody wants to see a page again, I can always restore it.
