Hidetaka Yoshioka (吉岡 秀隆,   Yoshioka Hidetaka) is a Japanese actor. Appearing in the Japanese television drama Ōedo Sōsamō (1970–92) at around five years old,[1] he became one of the most popular child actors during the 1980s before being cast in Takashi Yamazaki's directorial debut Juvenile (2000). Yoshioka continued working with Yamazaki and starred in the Always: Sunset on Third Street trilogy (2005–12), winning the Japan Academy Film Prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for the first two Always films. Eventually, Yoshioka went on to play the former IJN technical officer Kenji Noda in Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus One (2023). He will reprise the role in the sequel Godzilla Minus Zero (2026).
