Again

Why was my revert reverted? Rumble is mentioned on the Toho-Towa page.--Allosaurus (talk) 19:48, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

None of these movies have anything to do with this site. Rumble is at least being distributed by Toho, the company whose works are the foundation for this website, and is widely being considered kaiju-adjacent within the fandom. There's no harm in mentioning it on the Toho-Towa page; all of these Harryhausen movies in his filmography are just bloating the page. The subheading is called a "selected" filmography for a reason. It's not like we're listing every film that's ever been distributed by Toho-Towa. Les (main | talk) 19:52, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

We have an entire page dedicated to Pokémon. One could very easily argue that Rumble, a movie about giant monster wrestling, is kaiju-related and the Toho connection only makes it more compelling. Doesn't mean we're going to cover it, but the mention isn't hurting anything.

One movie that's being distributed by a Toho subsidiary being mentioned on that company's page is not remotely comparable to 14 movies entirely unrelated to this website taking up the majority of the Ray Harryhausen page's filmography. Les (main | talk) 20:03, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

The fact that it's linking to Wikipedia and isn't a redlink should make it clear it's not getting a page here. I really don't see what the harm is.

And either way, the Rumble situation is still almost completely unrelated to the Harryhausen page. It's taking the precedent to the extreme. Les (main | talk) 20:23, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
