Min Tanaka (田中 泯,   Tanaka Min) is a Japanese dancer and actor. He was trained in ballet and modern dance before moving away from the forms in 1974; from 1986 to 2010, Tanaka taught dance in training workshops. In 2002, he began his acting career and starred in the historical drama The Twilight Samurai, winning Best Supporting Actor at the 26th Japan Academy Film Prize. Since then, Tanaka has starred in several films by Takashi Yamazaki, including The Eternal Zero (2013), The Great War of Archimedes (2019), and yokaipedia (2022). He is set to star in Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus Zero (2026) as Kanji Murakami, a biologist psychologically scarred by World War II.
