Godzilla is a kaiju that appears in IDW Publishing's 2023-2024 comic Godzilla: War for Humanity.
Design
This Godzilla's design heavily resembles the Showa incarnation's designs from Godzilla vs. Megalon through Terror of Mechagodzilla. His skin is depicted as blue, his eyes are orange, he possesses incredibly tiny pointed ears, his brow ridges are composed of enormous scale-like protrusions, and his teeth are large and exposed.

Godzilla recognized Super MOGUERA's reactor melting down and used its energy to power himself up and prevent the mecha from being destroyed. He seems to comprehend human speech to some extent, as he seemed to accept Yuko Honda’s apology, though he blew some air and mucus at her. More TBA.
Atomic breath
Godzilla's atomic breath was powerful enough to remove Super MOGUERA's right arm, which was stronger than normal MOGUERA's and while it was flying too. After absorbing Super MOGUERA’s Energy Godzilla was able to fire one powerful enough to obliterate Zoospora. More TBA.
Energy absorption
Godzilla was able to absorb the energy Super MOGUERA's melting down reactor, not only halting the mecha's destruction but also supercharging his atomic breath More TBA
Infection resistance
While not entirely immune to Zoospora's infectious spores, Godzilla was able to resist their affects for far longer than other kaiju. After absorbing Super MOGUERA's energy, he was able to purge himself of the spores.
Weaknesses
Godzilla was overwhelmed by multiple opponents, even with Super MOGEURA’s aid. Without Super MOGUERA's energy, Godzilla would have eventually succumbed to Zoospora's influence. More TBA

- This Godzilla is one of the few comic-originating incarnations of the character that have an inferred height. The other such incarnations include Marvel's Godzilla at 184.4m/605ft[citation needed] and the Godzilla from IDW's universe at 55-70m/180-230ft[citation needed].
