Godzilla: Rulers of Earth ReMonstered Edition[2] (ゴジラ：ルーラーズ・オブ・アース リモンスター版 Gojira: Rūrāzu Obu Āsu Rimonsutā-ban) is a set of hardcover books published by Phase Six reprinting the 2013-2015 American comic book series Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, which was originally published by IDW Publishing. The first volume contains an original bonus story written and illustrated by Matt Frank, entitled "Thinking on Our Feet"[3] (二人三脚 Ninin Sankyaku, lit. "Three-Legged Race"), while the second volume will also contain another currently-untitled bonus story.[4] The first volume was published on October 31, 2023, with a currently-undated second volume to follow.

The first volume of Godzilla: Rulers of Earth ReMonstered Edition contains the first 12 issues of Godzilla: Rulers of Earth translated in Japanese, with 35 pages of "touched-up" artwork and corrections as well as additional making-of material that was absent from the original Phase Six reprints of the series. Additionally, the book features a brand-new six-page bonus story, "Thinking on Our Feet," which was written and illustrated by original series author and artist Matt Frank.[1][2]
"Thinking on Our Feet"
Two years after the destruction of the Devonians, Lucy Casprell and Kristina Sumres are on their first vacation as a couple in Bangkok, Thailand. Casprell has planned her itinerary meticulously, wanting to rush through dinner so she can make a tuk-tuk tour at 7 PM. Sumres asks if she can be more flexible, but she responds that she's used to rushing around when working with kaiju. Just before they can kiss, Varan bursts out of the harbor, much to Sumres's frustration.
Casprell and Sumres chase after Varan on a borrowed moped, with Sumres reporting the attack to Chavez. He tells them that Kiryu is undergoing repairs, but MOGUERA is ready to sortie, and advises them to steer clear of the monster. Lucy instead declares that she's going to head straight for it, as this is a rare opportunity for research, causing him to spit out his coffee. She steers around falling debris until Star Falcon arrives, having separated from MOGUERA's other half to reach the city faster. Its lasers have little effect on Varan's armored carapace, and Casprell recommends targeting his weaker underbelly. Land Moguera's pilot complies, bursting out of the ground to spear Varan in the chest. Later, Casprell and Sumres observe the unconscious Varan atop Land Moguera and make plans to tag along during his transportation to the Monster Islands. Deciding to leave the logistics to Chavez for now, they finally kiss.
