The attack is beginning. Godzilla is emerging from the ocean. Varan is walking across the outback. And the skater punks? They’re in the middle of it all. With their field trip interrupted, and all of Australia thrown into high alert from a rare kaiju attack, Jimmy and his friends have to skate across town, while dodging military patrols, to save their beloved skate park.[1]

Plot
Jules Wheeler watches, stunned, as her friends dash out of the school bus one by one. The four skaters sneak off the highway without the police noticing. As the ground shakes and Wheeler panics, Roland "Rolly" Nolan asks Jimmy "Egg" Fry to explain what exactly they'll be doing. At the same time, Godzilla swims through a minefield as ships lob missiles at him.
As the teens equip roller skates and skateboards on an out-of-the-way sidewalk, Nolan relays to Wheeler that they should see the Coin Toss one last time before the kaiju demolish it; he himself also left a few things there that he needs to collect. The other kaiju, Varan, endures a barrage of missiles from fighter jets. The kids dive behind a bush to avoid a police patrol, then continue on their way. Godzilla leaps out of the water over a ship, seeming to spare it, until his tail comes crashing down on it. Wheeler's mother calls her as more patrols close in, and Sushila "Sushi" Sahax calms her by reminding her of another time that they evaded the authorities.
Varan climbs up a hill and begins gliding. The general watches a security camera feed of soldiers and officers surrounding the skaters. Spinning, Varan deflects missiles, sending one back at a pursuing jet, then smashes the other two in his claws. Fry cues the others to make their escapes all at once. He dives across the hood of the police car; Nolan bounds over a dumpster and on top of a building; Wheeler and Sahax crawl under a fence and skate down a flight of stairs. The teens and the kaiju converge on the Coin Toss. A police officer catches Wheeler by the wrist, but an earth-shattering roar so startles him that he lets her go. The general, picking up a shattered photo of her with her daughter, is displeased to hear from Captain Simmons that the four teens have escaped them. She orders him to find them before being called into the field by her superior.
Sahax and Wheeler have a jubilant reunion with Nolan, then Fry, outside the Coin Toss. As they enter the complex, they're horrified to see that it's directly between Godzilla and Varan, each roaring a challenge at the other.
