"Titan Times Two!" is the eighth issue of Marvel's Godzilla. It was released in March of 1978.

Plot

With only Red Ronin, piloted by Robert Takiguchi, standing between Godzilla and the San Diego military's nuclear stockpile, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Godzilla Squad wonders what to do next.

Robert attacks Godzilla to try to keep him away, and tries to accept that to save everyone he must kill his beloved Godzilla. However, when the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier is about to attack Godzilla, Robert comes up with another idea. Using magna-clamp cables dropped from Red Ronin's feet, Robert harnesses Godzilla and flies him away from the missiles.

However, Godzilla breaks free and begins to rampage along the San Diego shoreline, forcing S.H.I.E.L.D. to take action. Robert keeps them at bay with Red Ronin's weapons, and points away from the city, where Godzilla take the boy's meaning and leaves. Afterwards, Robert believes that Godzilla is now his friend.
