GAMERA -Rebirth- code thyrsos (GAMERA -Rebirth- コードテルソス Gamera Ribāsu Kōdo Terusosu) is a prequel manga series to the 2023 Netflix Original animated series GAMERA -Rebirth-, illustrated by Cambria Bakuhatsu Taro from a story by Kadokawa. Running from September 8, 2023, to December 27, 2024, chapters were released for free in Japanese on Kadokawa's online service Young Ace UP. English translations of the chapters by Lapin, Inc. are also purchasable through the website BOOK☆WALKER, with the first chapter available free. Titan Manga will publish the first volume of the English translation on November 25, 2025.[1]
Set 100,000 years before the events of GAMERA -Rebirth-, the comic depicts the downfall of the ancient kingdom of Elisitania, which had begun manufacturing giant creatures known as Kaiju to stage artificial wars for the benefit of its elite. A boy named Lucius, whose father was killed in one such war, is disfigured in an encounter with a Kaiju and vows to see the aristocracy destroyed.
