Godzilla Treasury Edition contains the first issues of the comic miniseries Godzilla: The Half-Century War and Godzilla in Hell, both of which were written and illustrated by James Stokoe. In addition, the book includes an unused story treatment by Chris Mowry and three pages of uncolored art by Stokoe based on the treatment, which has Godzilla fight Hedorah. The book ends with a collection of all covers that Stokoe had contributed to IDW's Godzilla comics up to that point, ranging from 2011's Godzilla: Gangsters & Goliaths to the then-recent Godzilla: Oblivion.

- The cover art for Godzilla Treasury Edition is a color-muted version of James Stokoe's cover art for Godzilla in Hell #1.
- In 2023, IDW will publish an expanded hardcover version of Treasury Edition, Godzilla by James Stokoe Deluxe Edition, which includes the entirety of Godzilla: The Half-Century War rather than just the first issue.
