Plot

The issue opens with Godzilla looking out over a city when a demon representation of Rodan appears. Godzilla fights him off and enters an icy region where a demon Anguirus is frozen in ice. Anguirus is freed and the two start to fight, but the ice cracks and Godzilla falls into an endless ocean where he encounters a demon Varan. Varan is quickly deterred by Godzilla's atomic breath, and King Ghidorah appears behind him. Ghidorah's appearance creates a whirlpool, likening the situation to the Odyssey's Scylla (a many-headed monster) and Charybdis (a whirlpool). Godzilla is sucked into the whirlpool and the issue ends.
