Plot
A couple riding the London Eye watch in horror as Godzilla rises out of the River Thames. He grabs the Ferris wheel and throws it, then roars as Big Ben chimes. Jaion "Jai" Kulkarni's bickering crew board a stolen news helicopter and fly it towards the monster. Beneath London, an alarm sounds in the British Defense Laboratory housing Mechagodzilla. One scientist, Bender, is convinced the machine lured Godzilla to England, as his natural territory is the Pacific Ocean. At the urging of another scientist, he starts to bring Mechagodzilla online.
Jai agitates Godzilla by firing his atmospheric device at its back. The monster pursues the helicopter through the city, finally firing his atomic breath. The beam missing, but debris falling from the skyscraper it strikes cripples the helicopter. The crew emerges, with Beta accusing Jai of manipulating them all, but they're interrupted by Godzilla's approach. As a British fighter jet engages him, Jai summons a van to drive them the rest of the way to Whitehall. He deploys his drones, which draw Godzilla towards the Ministry of Defence. Guards block the thieves' path, but Godzilla soon pulls their attention, ignoring their bullets as he annihilates the building with atomic breath. Alpha focuses his awed team, reminding them that their mission has only just started.
