"The Devil and the Dinosaur!" is the 22nd issue of Marvel's Godzilla. It was released in May of 1979.

Plot

As Godzilla aids Moon-Boy and Devil Dinosaur in repelling an attack by the Lizard-Warriors on Earth-78411, everyone in Earth-616 is happy to be rid of Godzilla. Robert, however, is upset by his absence and worries that Godzilla may be killed. Meanwhile, in Mr. Fantastic's lab, Dr. Doom's time machine starts to become unstable after being exposed to Godzilla's radioactive physiology and is at risk of exploding.

Back on Moon-Boy's world, he, Godzilla, and Devil Dinosaur successfully repel the invading Lizard-Warriors and save his home of Flame Valley. Just then, Godzilla suddenly begins returning to his original size, while on Earth-616, Mr. Fantastic has the time machine taken to a safe place. Instead of exploding, however, the device transports Godzilla back to Earth-616, right in the middle of New York City.
