An untitled Godzilla manga will be written by Ju Ishiguchi, and debut in Akita Publishing's Young Champion magazine in 2025. It will feature Godzilla fighting a brand-new alien monster.
Development
The manga was announced with a trailer that aired at Godzilla Fest 2024 on November 3, 2024, before being posted to YouTube shortly after.
On March 3, 2025, the manga's official X account posted an image containing the date May 27, 2025, possibly hinting at when the series will begin.[1] Four more images with the same date have since followed: one showing part of a machine on March 17,[2] one showing part of the new Godzilla design on March 24,[3] one showing two human characters on March 31,[4] and one showing a drill-nosed ship resembling the Gotengo on April 7.[5]
