The world knows that the King of the Monsters has been riled up by the Linival energy plants, whose output sent Godzilla on a pan-Pacific destructive spree the likes of which the world has never seen — but the danger is greater than anyone knows. Godzilla is sitting in judgment on humanity, and the verdict could spell doom for life on Earth! The Shobijin become aware of this and know they could ask Mothra to intervene...but does humanity deserve Mothra’s help?[1]

Plot
In his second vlog, Cedric Nishimura addresses how he could have known that Linival Island's energy transmissions affected krill: the Shobijin told him. Tiny telepaths who live on Infant Island with their monster goddess Mothra, the Shobijin receive a vision one day of Godzilla's growing anger. Humanity's devastation of the planet is such that he is contemplating using his atomic breath in Japan to cause an explosion massive enough to block out the sun, ushering in a new Ice Age. Uncertain whether humanity deserves Mothra's help, they meditate to arrive at the answer. At Linival headquarters, Nomura orders Godzilla destroyed. From cell samples on Linival Island, his scientists have determined that Godzilla cannot be poisoned. One scientist suggests building a giant robot, but geneticist Takahashi dismisses it as impractical. His own team has made great progress already.
The Shobijin decide they should convince Godzilla that humanity can change. Their first destination will be a school in Japan, as "the next generation is where hope grows best." The Shobijin with a blue hair clip summons a bird to fly them there. Meanwhile, Godzilla's attacks continue, prompting Cedric's school to dedicate a day to discussing the monster. Emily and Anderson dominate the conversation at first, with Emily believing Godzilla's goal is to restore balance and Anderson asserting that he's only acting on dumb instinct. Cedric opines that either option is terrifying. Mr. Murray notes that humanity can either change or keep the status quo, as Godzilla's targets suggest that he is responding specifically to us. A change could either intensity his attacks or end them. In the ruins of Linival Island, Takahashi leads Nomura to an underground facility where his team has been attempting to clone Godzilla. The first attempt was a failure; the second used Element 131 in an attempt to power its atomic breath. He shows a delighted Nomura the third and most promising clone, which incorporates plant and mammalian DNA as well. It resembles a giant rosebud.
Concluding his vlog, Cedric quips, "Making another monster was probably not the kind of change Mr. Murray was talking about, but it certainly was a choice, right?" An unseen viewer clicks on the next video.
