Trivia
- This issue is set to be released on the same day as IDW Publishing's Godzilla vs. America: Los Angeles.
- Though Spider-Man previously appeared in Marvel's Godzilla #24, taking a picture of Godzilla, the two had never fought in a story until this issue.
- Variant Cover artist Greg Land previously illustrated Godzilla for Fantastic Four (vol. 7) #25's Godzilla Variant Cover, though he used the KingGoji design instead of a Heisei-inspired one.
- As with Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four, the Versus Variant cover, mimicking a boxing poster, features the tagline "One will fall", which is shared with Godzilla vs. Kong.
