The United Kingdom is a sovereign island nation located in Western Europe and possesses several overseas territories. The UK is featured and referenced in various kaiju media.
History
The Lost World
Challenger accepts an offer to finance a mission to go to the plateau where dinosaurs still live after being ridiculed at the Zoological Hall. A year later, after returning from the plateau, Challenger is speaking to scientists at the Zoological Hall about his story and "living proof", the Brontosaurus. However, while being unloaded from the ship, the Brontosaurus escapes from its cage when the ropes break and rampages around London. However, the Brontosaurus ends up swimming away from London up the River Thames after collapsing Tower Bridge.
The Giant Behemoth
The Paleosaurus became irradiated by nuclear waste in the northern Atlantic Ocean and traveled to London to die in the fresh water of the River Thames. Its body gave off lethal pulses of radiation as it traveled, and it went on a rampage in London until Dr. Steve Karnes killed the Paleosaurus with a radium torpedo.
Gorgo
Gorgo was transported to London after being discovered off the coast of Ireland, where he was put on display. Enraged, Ogra, the young kaiju's mother, came ashore in London in search of him. Ogra fought off the British military's efforts to stop her, destroying multiple British landmarks in the process, until she found Gorgo, and peacefully went back out to sea with her son.
Konga
After Konga was injected with more of the growth serum, he broke out of Dr. Decker's laboratory by breaking through the roof. He grabbed Dr. Decker and walked through the streets of London, although he spared any further buildings from destruction. He approached Big Ben as soldiers arrived to take down the monstrous ape. With a barrage from their semi-machine guns and bazookas, Konga died, fell to the ground, and returned to his original form as a baby chimpanzee, lying next to the dead body of his creator.
Showa era
The Last War
Following the destruction of Tokyo by an Alliance missile, London was one of several other cities to be attacked in the ensuing war. A nuclear missile exploded near Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, wiping both landmarks off the map in addition to the rest of the city.
King Kong vs. Godzilla
In the American version of King Kong vs. Godzilla, the United Kingdom along with the United States and the Soviet Union all offer troops and weapons to Japan to help the country repel Godzilla.
Destroy All Monsters
After the Kilaaks mind-controlled all the kaiju in Monsterland, Manda was deployed to attack London. After attacking the city off-screen, Manda departed from London to join Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra's attack on Tokyo.

Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
In 1996, Godzilla attacked Hong Kong[note 1] after the destruction of Baas Island, now possessing lava-like rashes on his body.
Godzilla: The Series
"DeadLoch"
When H.E.A.T. received reports of the Loch Ness Monster attacking a laboratory, the team traveled to Scotland to investigate. Nick and Randy sighted Nessie in the loch, who gave chase but was attacked by Godzilla. Suspicious of Dr. Trevor of the institute, Nick and Randy hacked the lab's security feed and discovered Nessie's offspring held hostage in the building. H.E.A.T. sacrificed N.I.G.E.L. to lure Nessie to the surface, and then broadcasted her child's cry into the loch. Before Nessie could retrieve her child, however, Godzilla attacked her again, and the two dove into the loch to fight. As Dr. Trevor ran off with Nessie's child, both kaiju heard the baby's cries and abandoned their battle, teaming up to save the young monster. Nessie thanked Godzilla with a hiss, and peacefully returned to the deep with her baby.
"Monster Wars: Part 2"
The Leviathan Aliens sent the mind-controlled Crustaceous Rex to attack London.
"Monster Wars: Part 3"
Crustaceous Rex continued its assault on London until H.E.A.T. severed the Leviathan Aliens' mind control. The British military proceeded to knock the monster unconscious, ending its attack.
"Future Shock"
In an apocalyptic future where the genetically-engineered D.R.A.G.M.A.s have overran Earth, the timeline's Mendel Craven showed the rest of H.E.A.T., sent to the future via time travel, footage of the monsters attacking London.
Kong: The Animated Series
"The Infinity Stone"
Kong, Lua, Tan, and Jason Jenkins left Kong Island for the UK in order to stop a Primal Stone from being used in an occult ritual at Stonehenge.
Millennium era
Godzilla Final Wars
The new Gotengo fought and killed Manda in an undersea volcano in the English Channel.
Monsterverse
Godzilla: King of the Monsters
Leviathan was located within Loch Ness, Scotland, where Monarch constructed Outpost 49 to monitor it. After King Ghidorah caused a mass awakening of Titans with his call, Admiral William Stenz named London as one of the cities to be under attack.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
After attaining a more powerful form, Godzilla sensed Kong's presence, and traveled towards Gibraltar. The King of the Monsters climbed up the Rock of Gibraltar before bellowing to Kong's battle cry. Diving off the mountain, Godzilla sped towards Egypt to confront his rival once more.
Reiwa era
GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters
Dogora attacked London in September 2002, causing 3.9 million deaths. London was also the location of the Bilusaludo's first contact with Earth; fleets of their spaceships entered the Earth's atmosphere over the United Kingdom, and were observed hovering over Westminster.
Godzilla Singular Point
As monsters begin spreading around the world, a swarm of Manda appeared in the Strait of Dover and began moving inland into the United Kingdom via the River Thames. Flocks of Rodan also began flying over the UK, spreading clouds of red dust across the nation.

During Professor Elmer Mason's time-travelling heist, G-Force sent Burton Helzer and Dr. Marina Meltev to 1588 England to counter any attacks on London. After attacking numerous Britain-related locations and ships, Mason ransacked a Victorian-era zoo for exotic animals while Godzilla rampaged through London.
Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters
Despite no kaiju appearing in the UK, London was repeatedly said to be destroyed.
Godzilla
Boxer and his team defeated their first monster, Anguirus, during the kaiju's rampage in Edinburgh, Scotland.
SpaceGodzilla first landed on Earth in London, and immediately attacked the city. He was soon attacked by Battra and Titanosaurus, though he swiftly defeated them and left London to join Monster X in New York.
Godzilla: Rage Across Time
In 2016, Benjamin Thompson and Nikki Kasumi were in England to research some theorized Godzilla appearances.
In 1348, King Edward III summoned a knight named Gilder and tasked him with slaying a dragon, which he believed to be responsible for the Black Death. Gilder gathered a small army of knights and went hunting for the dragon, but were ambushed by a Meganulon, and then Megaguirus. The knights took shelter in a cave, which led to a temple devoted to Mothra, who Gilder believed to be an angel. His men, however, saw Mothra as another dragon and tried to kill her, only for many of them to be killed in self defense. Megaguirus attacked Mothra, and the two fought, ending in Mothra's victory. Gilder contracted the Black Death, and burned Megaguirus' corpse while his surviving men returned to King Edward's castle, only to be shot on sight.
Back in the modern day, Thompson and Kasumi discovered Gilder and Megaguirus' remains, and speculated he had help killing the beast.
Godzilla: Here There Be Dragons
In 1566, Caribbean British authorities captured the pirate Henry Hull, who delayed his execution by telling the story of Sir Francis Drake and his crew's encounters with kaiju while pursuing a legendary treasure. Hull's guard, Boggs, dragged him to a gallows to execute him for repeatedly mentioning Queen Elizabeth I throughout his tale, but Sir Francis Walsingham, Elizabeth's principal secretary, prevented his execution and implored Hull to tell him all about Drake's journey. After Hull relayed everything he knew, Walsingham shot him, and had his guards kill Boggs. Walsingham revealed himself as a member of the Sons of Giants, a global conspiracy to cover up the existence of the kaiju from the rest of the world which had frequently appeared throughout Hull's story.
Godzilla Rivals
Vs. King Ghidorah
London was one of Earth's cities that was besieged by the Xiliens' invasion.
Vs. Battra
In 2027, the fictional seaside town of Hackney-on-Sea bore witness to a titanic battle between Godzilla and Battra, the latter of which had emerged due to rampant pollution plaguing the Earth. The two monsters fought, with Battra emerging victorious. As Godzilla was incapacitated, Battra attacked the town with no resistance until Godzilla was able to recover. However, just as the two were about to fight again, Mothra was summoned, and pacified Battra by explaining to him that the town was not the source of the pollution, but was a victim of it.
Godzilla x Kong: The Hunted
Scylla attacked a uranium pellet manufacturing plant in the UK, absorbing the plant's nuclear energy. Godzilla showed up a few hours later, momentarily surveying the destruction before continuing on Scylla's trail.
Books
Godzilla 2000
Fighter jets managed to lure King Ghidorah away from France, only for the alien menace to attack England, before leaving to attack the United States.
