Texas
Texas is the second largest and second most populous state in the United States. The state has been featured infrequently in kaiju media, appearing in one of Marc Cerasini's Godzilla novels and a comic series from IDW Publishing.

After the successful mission on the moon, Earth began to prepare defenses against the Natarl's inevitable counterattack. During this defense, Texas served as a launch site for FFE Space Fighters to combat the Natarl UFOs, along with Tokyo and Siberia.

Emerging from the Gulf of Mexico, Varan swam to shore, clashing with the Mexican military as he made his way up the North American continent. After several unsuccessful attempts by the Mexican military to kill him, Varan entered the United States and began laying waste to Texas. He was engaged by Raptor-One along with G-Force while over Houston. After being forced down by the craft, Varan landed on a ship re-fueling platform, which Raptor-One set off by firing on it with its Hellfire Missiles. The explosion ignited the internal gasses Varan used to float, causing him to explode and fall into the Gulf of Mexico as he attempted to flee. With Varan's fate left ambiguous, G-Force U.S.A. had claimed its first victory against the monsters.

Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters
In response to the emergence of Anguirus in Sabinas, Mexico, a wall was constructed along the Mexico/Texas border in hopes of keeping the kaiju from entering the state. The plan failed when Anguirus broke through the wall with ease and subsequently went on a rampage through Texas. In San Antonio, he was chased by a pair of rednecks who attempted to hunt him with a sniper rifle, only to be killed soon after with their bullets having had no effect. In an interview with Girly Yaya, a member of the Monster Equality and Living Standards organization, the pop singer argued that the destruction Anguirus was causing in Texas was simply nature in action before boldly declaring that, "for the greater good, Texas should be destroyed." Anguirus eventually left San Antonio and headed into Arizona to confront Godzilla on the West Coast.
