Yeti: Giant of the 20th Century
Discovered frozen in a block of ice off the coast of Newfoundland, the Yeti was thawed out at the behest of industrialist Morgan Hunnicut to serve as a corporate mascot. After being airlifted to Toronto, the beast escaped and terrorized the city before taking refuge in a warehouse, low on oxygen. Saboteurs employed by Hunnicut's competitors nearly killed him, but he foiled their plot and ultimately withdrew into the wilderness.

"The Beast of Storm Island"

Millennium era
Godzilla Final Wars

Monster X Strikes Back: Attack the G8 Summit
Maplesyrup Harris, Prime Minister of Canada, represented his country at a G8 summit held in Japan. Originally convened to discuss humanity's coexistence with nature, the eight world leaders were forced to pivot towards destroying the space monster Guilala after it launched an attack on Japan.

Konga's Revenge
Konga became enamored with actress Andrea Barr after watching one of her films at a Canadian drive-in. After the audience and employees fled, the Canadian military dispatched a fighter jet to investigate, which just dodged a swipe from the ape. Feeling harassed, Konga left Canada for Siberia.
Marvel's Godzilla
When flying Dr. Yuriko Takiguchi, his assistant Tamara Hashioka, and his grandson Robert Takiguchi to Alaska in response to a Godzilla sighting, Nick Fury mentioned crossing the border between Montana and Canada. After being burned by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s laser cannon, Godzilla tried and failed to soothe the pain by submerging himself in Alaskan and Canadian waters.
Later, an underground nuclear test in Nevada split a subterranean fault running from Arizona to Alberta. The split exposed the frozen monster Yetrigar, who thawed out and grew to enormous size due to radiation emitted by the test. Heading south from Canada, he confronted Godzilla and Red Ronin in the Grand Canyon.
Dark Horse's Godzilla
Ten months after Professor Noriko Yoshiwara administered a poison to Godzilla, the King of the Monsters surfaced off the coast of Canada, bleeding profusely from the toxin's effects. Godzilla briefly battled Canadian jets near the Fraser Dam before G-Force members Kino and Take arrived in a VTOL with a plan to use a sonic beacon to lure Godzilla away. It seemingly worked until the beacon suddenly malfunctioned, and the enraged Godzilla shot the VTOL down with an atomic breath. Kino and Take survived and were rescued by reporter Kate Koshiro by helicopter. Recovering the beacon, they found it was sabotaged. Meanwhile, Godzilla continued to battle against the Canadian military. Cybersaur, a giant mecha created by G-Force and the United Nations, arrived to fend him off before he could reach Vancouver. The crew of the ant-Godzilla robot got cocky and diverted all power from its shields to its weapons, only for Godzilla to critically damage with his tail and atomic breath. Godzilla continued his rampage while Kate flew Take and Kino to the downed Cybersaur, with Kino helping the crew get the robot functional. The Canadian military attempt to stop the monster outside Vancouver by setting Harrison Lake on fire in tandem with electrical shocks and artillery fire, but failed as he advanced onward. Cybersaur arrived before Godzilla could target the VTOL, and after a brief battle, brought down Godzilla with a blast from its G-Buster. The King of the Monsters roared before falling still, seemingly dead.
G-Force and the Canadian military set up an impromptu research facility around Godzilla's body to confirm that he had died, soon detecting a heartbeat. Meanwhile, Bagorah, having heard Godzilla's roar from the far reaches of space, flew down to Earth to feed on him. After Bagorah downed three fighter jets, Cybersaur repulsed the monster, who retreated into the nearby oceans as the sun rose. Bagorah attacked the next night and, despite the use of newly-equipped Sonic Disruptors derived from the repaired beacon, overpowered Cybersaur. The damage he inflicted ultimately proved fatal to the mech, though Take and fellow pilot Demetrous escaped before it exploded. Professor Yoshiwara, filled with guilt over the contamination Godzilla's poisoned blood had caused, escaped from her detention in G-Force Headquarters and arrived in Canada to administer an antidote, successfully firing it into the monster's body. As Bagorah attempted to feed on Godzilla, the King of the Monsters awakened, grabbing the space bat by the neck.
As Bagorah attacked Godzilla with his sound waves, Godzilla found himself unable to fire his atomic breath, still recovering from the toxin's effects. Fighter jets lured out to sea. He chomped down on one of the jets, but it proved inedible, motivating him to fly to Vancouver in search of a more savory meal. However, Bagorah did not have long to hunt before Godzilla arrived in the city to continue their fight. Godzilla held off Bagorah until he could use his atomic breath again, two blasts sending Bagorah sinking into the Pacific Ocean. Godzilla returned to the ocean himself shortly after.
"Ice Cold Winter"
Cameron Winter lures Godzilla to waters 100 miles south of Newfoundland. He gloated to the H.E.A.T. team that the Canadian government had granted him salvage rights to these waters, allowing him to legally abduct Godzilla. Randy Hernandez allowed the monster to escape by programming N.I.G.E.L. to overheat and melt the ice.
IDW's Godzilla (2012-2013)

After Godzilla destroyed Seattle, the independent Monster Kill Crew led by Boxer convened in North Vancouver in anticipation of the monster's arrival there. They made their preparations within 48 hours, only to wait a draining 27 days before Godzilla finally attacked. He failed to react to Claire Plangman's Headache Beam. Boxer commenced Plan B, detonating a series of explosives planted in the city to direct Godzilla's course to Mount Garibaldi, an enormous stratovolcano, where an even greater cache of explosives was waiting. Unfortunately for the Monster Kill Crew, a private helicopter helmed by Dr. Pohl suddenly appeared and dropped a device that dispersed a cloud of pheromones, developed by Asuka Hikari, originating from Godzilla's DNA. This blue substance drew Godzilla into following the helicopter back into the city. Irving Jassim, the team's explosives expert, disabled enough of the explosives to stop the volcano from erupting when they detonated, saving the city.
Godzilla continued to follow the helicopter through North Vancouver, nearly tramping the rest of the Monster Kill Crew in the process and eventually winding up on the edge of the city at the docks near the ocean. There, Pohl's forces trapped the monster in a containment field using an experimental form of black hole energy. After space monsters landed in cities around the world, Boxer realizes that Godzilla and the other Earth monsters had risen up to protect the planet from the invaders, not destroy it, and resolved to free him. Godzilla, however, freed himself first, fluctuations in the black hole energy allowing him to dispel the field with his atomic breath. After nearly trampling Boxer, his son Harrison, Hikari, and an old man whose car they had commandeered, Godzilla took his leave into the Pacific, leaving Boxer shouting after him.

When the egg it laid there hatched, it flew the hatchling back towards Canada and beyond.
