Argentina, officially the Argentine Republic, is a country located in South America, bordering the likes of Brazil, Peru, and Chile. It has been featured is kaiju media across movies and books.

Upon detecting Alan Jonah's crew arriving in Outpost 32, Antarctica, Godzilla swam through the waters bordering Argentina as he made his way south.

Later, a Cold War-era map of Monarch bunkers situated across the world showed that one of them was located near the border between Argentina and Uruguay.

When King Ghidorah called on the Titans to attack the world, a Monarch map labeled Behemoth as being in Argentina while footage of him attacking Rio de Janeiro played.

In 2048, the decisive attack of the Total Attack Faction against Godzilla came off the coast of Argentina near the Falkland Islands, where the Gotengo was lost. The attack saw the end of the Faction's remaining forces and the organization as a whole.

Trivia

In the unmade 1960s film Batman Meets Godzilla; the antagonist, Klaus Finster, was a German meteorologist who had been holed up for 20 years in Argentina.
