Argentina, officially the Argentine Republic, is a country located in South America, bordering the likes of Brazil and Chile. It has been featured in kaiju media across films and books.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

After King Ghidorah flew away from Antarctica, Godzilla swam past the coast of Argentina while chasing the three-headed monster to Isla de Mara, Mexico.

Later, on Cold War-era map of Monarch bunkers situated across the world, one of them was located near the border between Argentina and Uruguay.

When King Ghidorah called on the Titans to attack the world, a Monarch map labeled Behemoth as being in Argentina while footage of him attacking Rio de Janeiro, Brazil played.

In 2048, the decisive strike by the Total Attack Faction against Godzilla came off the coast of Argentina near the Falkland Islands, where the Gotengo was lost. The attack saw the end of the Faction's remaining forces and the organization as a whole, while Godzilla proceeded to make his way through South America.

Trivia

In the unmade 1960s film Batman Meets Godzilla, the antagonist, Klaus Finster, was a German meteorologist who had been holed up for 20 years in Argentina.
