Portugal, officially the Portuguese Republic, is a country in Southwestern Europe, bordering Spain. While it has been featured scarcely in kaiju and tokusatsu media, instances of its cultural and political history have been showcased in print media.

The MUTO Prime attacked the Azores, Portugal in 2014; where a team of Monarch operatives led by Dr. Emma Russell arrived to confront it. The MUTO Prime took out nearly the entire team by attacking it from underground, while a prototype of the Orca ended up agitating the creature rather than pacifying it.

Godzilla: Here There Be Dragons

In the year 1357, the Sao Vicente set sail from Lisbon, Portugal with treasure acquired by Bishop Thibaud de Castillon; heading towards France. Attracted by the treasure, two pirate ships attacked the Vicente off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia.
