"Monster March"
|
"Monster March" (怪獣マーチ is the theme song for the Kaijū Māchi)1969 Godzilla film All Monsters Attack, performed by Lily Sasaki and the Tokyo Children's Choir. It was released as a 7-inch vinyl single by Nippon Crown in December 1969, with "Pun Pun Pun" as its B-side. The song is also heard in the film's trailer and the film itself, the latter with different instrumentation and the Children's Choir's backing vocals removed; the first verse plays over the opening credits, and the third verse over a montage sequence shortly thereafter. These versions are labeled on soundtrack releases as "Main Title (Monster March I)" (メインタイトル (怪獣マーチⅠ) and "Monster March II" Mein Taitoru (Kaijū Māchi Wan)) (怪獣マーチⅡ, respectively. Kaijū Māchi Tsū)

- Despite the verses from "Monster March" included in the film not featuring the Tokyo Children's Choir's backing vocals, the choir is still credited for those tracks by streaming services.
- In the American version of All Monsters Attack, Godzilla's Revenge, Ervin Jereb's instrumental piece "Crime Fiction" played over the opening credits instead of "Monster March."
