Motoyoshi Oda (小田 基義,   Oda Motoyoshi) was a Japanese film director.

After graduating from Waseda University in 1935, Oda joined PCL Film Factory (currently Toho Studios) as an assistant director, working under director Kajiro Yamamoto. After four years with the company, he began directing his own films. Oda's first popular work was Lady from Hell, a 1949 film written by Akira Kurosawa.
