Takashi Miike (三池 崇史,   Miike Takashi) is a Japanese film and television director. Extremely prolific, he has directed at least one film per year since 1991.

Trivia

• Kadokawa selected Miike to direct a Daimajin reboot in 2006, which they scheduled for release in 2008. Though they cancelled it after assessing the box office failure of Gamera the Brave, Daimajin ultimately appeared in Miike's 2021 film The Great Yokai War: Guardians.
