Masahiro Yokotani (横谷 昌宏,   Yokotani Masahiro) is a Japanese screenwriter. Active since 1996, he primarily wrote and handled series composition for anime series. Yokotani's first work on a live-action film came with the 2000 film Pyrokinesis directed by Shusuke Kaneko. Yokotani went on to co-write the screenplay for Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack with Kaneko and Keiichi Hasegawa the following year, and also wrote the screenplay for Godzilla: Tokyo SOS with Masaaki Tezuka in 2003. Yokotani has continued to be active as a writer since, sticking primarily to anime.
