Tetsuya Yamada

Tetsuya Yamada (山田 哲弥 Yamada Tetsuya) is a Japanese anime screenwriter. His earliest credits were on the 2014 series Knights of Sidonia and its 2015 follow-up Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine, directed by Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita, respectively. Yamada reunited with Shizuno and Seshita to serve as an associate writer on their 2017 film GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters, and later co-wrote its sequel GODZILLA: City on the Edge of Battle with Gen Urobuchi and Sadayuki Murai. He worked with Seshita again as co-writer of the 2023 Netflix Gamera series GAMERA -Rebirth-.[2]
