Shiro Sagisu (鷺巣 詩郎,   Sagisu Shirō) is a Japanese music producer and composer. Sagisu is famous for scoring every entry in Hideaki Anno's Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise, winning the Tokyo Anime Award for Best Music in 2010 for his score for Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. His contributions to the tokusatsu genre include Shinji Higuchi's Attack on Titan the Movie: Part 1 and Part 2, Anno and Higuchi's Shin Godzilla and Shin Ultraman, and Studio Trigger's GRIDMAN UNIVERSE animated trilogy. Sagisu's father is the late mangaka, animator, and tokusatsu producer Soji Ushio, who founded the production company P-Production in 1960; after Ushio's death in 2004, Sagisu took over as the president of P-Production.[1]
