Kensho Yamashita (山下 賢章 was a Yamashita Kenshō)Japanese film director. An assistant director at Toho since 1969, he worked with Ishiro Honda on Terror of Mechagodzilla in 1975. Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, his third stint as director, was also his last film credit. Yamashita passed away on August 16, 2016, from heart failure.
