Hideto Date (伊達 秀人,   Date Hideto) is a Japanese suit actor. Though little is known about him, he was apart of a theater troupe with fellow actors Kenpachiro Satsuma and Tsugutoshi Komada.[1] He participated as a suit actor in the 1972 series, Thunder Mask before going on to portray Megalon in the 1973 film, Godzilla vs. Megalon alongside Satsuma and Komada as Gigan and Jet Jaguar, respectively.
