Teruo Aragaki (荒垣 輝雄 Aragaki Teruo)[note 1] was a Japanese suit actor. Aragaki portrayed Gamera from 1966 to 1968, but is perhaps most well-known for the numerous monster roles he played in Tsuburaya Productions' television series Ultraman and Ultraseven. Aragaki had been suffering from idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy for more that 20 years before he passed away on April 8, 2014 at the age of 77.
