Yosuke Nakano (中野 陽介,   Nakano Yōsuke), known professionally as Yo★Nakano (なかの★陽,   Nakano Yō), is a Japanese director, writer, and artist. After graduating from the Tokyo Institute of Visual Arts, Nakano joined Toho Eizo Bijutsu in 1993 as an assistant director to Koichi Kawakita for the then-upcoming Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II.[1] He continued to work in this capacity, as well as drawing storyboards and concept art, for Toho Pictures' next five kaiju films. He has since worked as a director and storyboardist for various tokusatsu and anime films and television series.
