Yusuke Kawazu (川津 (かわづ) 祐介,   Kawazu Yūsuke), born Yuichi Kawazu (川頭 (かわず) 祐一,   Kawazu Yūichi), was a Japanese actor and action star best known for his roles in such series as The Guard Man, Spy Catcher J3, and G-Men '75. Though he did not appear in many tokusatsu productions, he played Joji Akiyama in Shochiku's Genocide, Professor Omae in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, and Akio Nojiri in Gamera 2: Attack of Legion and Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris, as well as making appearances in Tsuburaya Productions' The Unbalance Zone and Toho's Megaloman. Kawazu passed away on February 26, 2022 at age 86.[1]
