Katsuro Onoue (尾上 克郎,   Onoue Katsurō) is a Japanese special effects director and VFX supervisor. A frequent collaborator of Shinji Higuchi, he has worked in special effects since the 1980s and has been involved in some capacity with tokusatsu projects from each of the genre's leading studios. Most notably, he served as the director of special effects on Higuchi's live action Attack on Titan films; associate director, VFX creative director, and second unit director on Shin Godzilla; and associate director and cinematographer on Shin Ultraman.
