Makoto Kamiya (神谷 誠,   Kamiya Makoto) is a Japanese director and visual effects supervisor. His career in kaiju eiga began in 1989, when he worked as an assistant special effects director for Godzilla vs. Biollante under Koichi Kawakita. After serving as the 1st AD to Shinji Higuchi on Shusuke Kaneko's Heisei Gamera trilogy, Kaneko recruited him as director of special effects for Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.
