Yoshikazu Ishii (石井 良和,   Ishii Yoshikazu) is a Japanese film director, writer, and producer. He directed the independent kaiju films Attack of the Giant Teacher (2018) and Yuzo the Biggest Battle in Tokyo (2022), and will act as the associate director of Keizo Murase's upcoming Brush of the God (2023). As an assistant director, he has worked alongside both drama and special effects directors including Hiroshi Kashiwabara, Kenji Suzuki, Masaaki Tezuka, Eiichi Asada, Makoto Kamiya, Tomoo Haraguchi, Toshio Miike, Katsuro Onoue, and more.[2]
