Chikara Hashimoto

Chikara Hashimoto (橋本 力, also erroneously called Riki Hashimoto, was a Hashimoto Chikara)Japanese professional baseball player and actor. Hashimoto was an outfielder for the Mainichi Orions from 1953 to 1958, after which he was forced to retire due to an injury. Following his retirement from baseball, Hashimoto became an actor. He was cast as the suit actor for Daimajin in the character's debut film, and reprised the role for the remainder of the trilogy. Hashimoto continued acting into the early 1970's, and became perhaps most well-known for his role as Hiroshi Suzuki in the 1972 film Fist of Fury, starring Bruce Lee. Hashimoto passed away from lung cancer on October 11, 2017, at the age of 83.[1]
