"Together" (はじまりのふたり,   Hajimari no Futari, lit. "The Beginning Two") is the 13th and final episode of Godzilla Singular Point. Directed by Atsushi Takahashi, it debuted on the Japanese Netflix on June 17, 2021, and on Japanese television June 24.

Plot

Artwork depicting an ancient emergence of Godzilla is shown as a mysterious voice communicates with Jet Jaguar PP, claiming to be an ancestor of the robot.

Within SHIVA, the AI Pelops II, having combined with the many divergences of himself the Catastrophe previously created, notices an unfinished task that had been started 50 years beforehand. He returns to the network of the Super Dimension Calculator to meet with Mei Kamino, Bearach "BB" Byrne, and Lina Byrne. BB reveals the task to be the one which Michiyuki Ashihara used to create the element Archetype, left unfinished due to the explosion and represented in virtual space by a small boat. Mei and BB realize it is also a code for the Orthogonal Diagonalizer which could be used to avoid the Catastrophe, so Pelops II leaves to investigate it. In Tokyo, Yun Arikawa, Haberu Kato, Goro Otaki, Jet Jaguar, and three trucks of soldiers led by Yoshiyasu Matsubara are chased by a flock of Rodan as they speed towards Tokyo Station to receive the code for their own Orthogonal Diagonalizer. One of the military trucks splits off from the group to divert the Rodan flock's attention. More of the monsters arrive to follow the others, but the soldiers repel them with machine gun fire.

Tilda stares down Salunga at SHIVA as her head mercenary fires an Orthogonal Diagonalizer at it. This time, Salunga negates its effects by moving all of the Red Dust in the area away from the detonation. Within the Super Dimensional Calculator, Pelops II learns that Ashihara had been attempting to use Archetype to halt the growth of the Singular Point that would lead to the Catastrophe, confirming the theories of BB and Mei. Pelops II then moves back into the Super Dimensional Calculator to repair and resume the task. In Tokyo, the convoy spots another flock of Rodan nearby as they close in on Godzilla. Goro orders Jet Jaguar and Yun into the air, but the Rodan attack before they can take off. The two military vehicles stop to distract the flock, though they are only partially successful due to the sheer number of them. As they flee from the Rodan, Goro notices that the road ahead of them abruptly ends. He speeds up, and Haberu helps push Jet Jaguar into the air while the truck plummets. Yun cries out as his friends disappear from view.

At SHIVA, BB discovers that the Catastrophe will occur in approximately 20 minutes—not enough time to complete the task. Pelops II suggests looping the task through the past instead, as it is still connected to when it was started 50 years ago, but Salunga breaks into the building before he can finish repairing it. Jet Jaguar and Yun are attacked by a flock of Rodan on their way to Godzilla. Jet Jaguar slices apart many of the monsters with the Spear of Anguirus, but they soon find themselves between the flock and Godzilla. Godzilla obliterates the flock with his atomic breath, forcing Jet Jaguar to crash-land on Godzilla and separating himself, Yun, and the Orthogonal Diagonalizer from each other. Parasitic Meganulon quickly appear to menace Yun.

Salunga leaps onto the calculator and begins ripping apart its outer shell, forcing Mei, BB, and Lina to flee as Pelops II finishes repairing the task and successfully resumes it by looping into the past. Yun dodges Meganulon attacks as he races towards the Orthogonal Diagonalizer, but Godzilla's movement causes it to fall off the monster's back. Yun leaps and catches the Orthogonal Diagonalizer midair as the time he expects to receive the code arrives—but no message arrives. Jet Jaguar catches Yun just before he can hit the ground, but the damaged flight pack forces them to crash-land again. The impact flings Jet Jaguar, with the Orthogonal Diagonalizer attached to him, far from Yun, while also alerting Godzilla to Yun's location. At SHIVA, Pelops II completes the task, finding that the code to stop the Catastrophe doesn't exist. Suddenly, the song "ALAPU UPALA" plays from the Super Dimensional Calculator. Mei comes to the realization that the song must be a message and asks Pelops II to analyze it. As he does so, the Catastrophe occurs, cutting off contact between the AI and his companions. Inside the task, Pelops II discovers a visage of Michiyuki Ashihara and finds that the program to make Jet Jaguar invincible that Yun had previously asked them to calculate was reacting to the visage. Moments later, Salunga destroys the calculator.

The Orthogonal Diagonalizer activates, causing Jet Jaguar to grow to 100 meters in height and allowing it to save Yun from Godzilla's atomic breath. As he battles Godzilla, Jet Jaguar PP remembers and explains to Yun that he is a distant descendant of Pelops II and Jet Jaguar Yung, had been broadcasting "ALAPU UPALA" until the moment arrived when he was able to fight the Catastrophe, and is the code to the Orthogonal Diagonalizer. As Godzilla's atomic breath blasts a hole through Jet Jaguar, he says his goodbyes to Yun and releases the code, converting all of the Red Dust around the world into blue crystals, while Godzilla disappears. Goro, Haberu, Yoshiyasu, and his soldiers look around at the crystals. Salunga is left impaled by the crystals erupting from the Singular Point within the Super Dimensional Calculator. Yun and Haberu return home to find Mei and Pelops III waiting. Finally looking each other in the eyes, Yun and Mei smile.

At an unknown location, Michael Steven and Takehiro Kai observe the construction of a mech created from the Godzilla skeleton Takehiro had stolen from Misakioku Radio Observatory. A man who appears to be Ashihara steps partially out of the shadows and grins wildly.
