Kepler-452b also known as Earth 2.0 or Earth's cousin[1] is an exoplanet approximately 1400 light years from Earth. It is about 5 times heavier than Earth and is most likely a Super-Earth with volcanoes across the land. It orbits the star Kepler-452 and is in the Cygnus constellation. As Kepler-452b was estimated to be of similar composition to Earth when it was discovered in 2015, it is believed that the planet may be a potential candidate for extraterrestrial life. Kepler-452b is mentioned in the 2017 novel GODZILLA: Monster Apocalypse.
