Shogo Tomiyama (富山 省吾,   Tomiyama Shōgo) is a Japanese businessman and former producer who oversaw every Toho kaiju film made from 1994 to 2004. He first entered the Godzilla series with 1989's Godzilla vs. Biollante, assisting executive producer Tomoyuki Tanaka on that and the next three films. He was specially billed as "co-executive producer" on Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (1994) before becoming a fully-fledged executive producer with Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995). Following Tanaka's death in 1997, the responsibility of developing the series fell squarely on Tomiyama, who acted as the executive producer of all six entries in the Millennium era. He was also appointed as the president of Toho Pictures in 2004, and served until 2010.[3]

Tomiyama is one of only four men to work as executive producer of the Japanese Godzilla films, a list which includes Tanaka, Minami Ichikawa, and Keiji Ota.
