The soundtrack for Shin Godzilla was released by King Records on July 29, 2016, featuring music by Shiro Sagisu and Akira Ifukube. The soundtrack was later released digitally to English-speaking markets by Milan Records on October 11, 2016. The English release has fewer tracks, opting instead to present the edits used in the film proper. As such, some of its tracks, such as "Persecution of the Masses," are slightly shortened.

"Original soundtrack release of the film "Godzilla Resurgence (Shin Godzilla)" co-directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi. Includes 32 tracks by Shiro Sagisu including "Persecution of the masses (1172)," "Black Angels (Fob_10_1211)," "Fob_01," and more (subject to change). Features original cover artwork and liner notes by Shiro Sagisu and Yu Hayakawa (subject to change)."[2]
