Keizo Murase

Keizo Murase (村瀬継蔵 is a Japanese suitmaker and the president of Twenty Ltd. His long career began in 1958, when Murase Keizō)Toho hired him to help sculpt the suit of the titular monster for Varan, and continues to this day with the film Howl from Beyond the Fog. An amateur photographer, Murase extensively documented his work, which was published in the 2015 book Monster Maker: Keizo Murase - Treasured KAIJU Photobook.[1] After working for Daiei on Gamera, he, Masao Yagi, and Toru Suzuki founded the modeling company, Ex Productions, which he left in 1972 to form his company, Twenty.
