Dragon Fire is the sixth episode of Kong: The Animated Series.
Plot
The episode opens with a Sea-Monster destroying a military ship before stealing a crate from its cargo hold and swimming away. Back on Kong Island, Jason Jenkins and his associates heard of the attack and drew the conclusion that Ramone De La Porta had begun working with the international arms dealer Andre. However, when Andre heard of the attack, he took it to mean that De La Porta was trying to encroach on his territory, and ordered the capture of the alleged Sea-Monster. The Sea-Monster, who was really a Cyber-Link fusion of De La Porta's pet komodo dragon and henchman Giggles, then delivered the crate, which was revealed to hold a laser weapon. Andre then attacked De La Porta and kidnapped him. Dr. Jenkins tracked them to Andre's oil rig, where De La Porta tricked him into merging with the komodo dragon. De La Porta then tried to escape, but was apprehended by Jason and Kong. Kong was then attacked by the Cyber-Dragon and Jason was able to recover one of the Primal Stones before De La Porta escaped. Kong was able to short out Andre's Cyber-Link, and the group left him for the Navy to find.

- Dragon Fire may be a call-back to King Kong vs. Godzilla, due to the focus of both being on Kong fighting an aquatic reptile who drags him under only for Kong to emerge victorious.
