Keizo Murase (村瀬 継蔵,   Murase Keizō) is a Japanese suitmaker and the president of Twenty Ltd. His long career began in 1958, when Toho hired him to help sculpt the suit of the titular monster for Varan, and continues to this day with the film Brush of the God. An amateur photographer, Murase extensively documented his work, which was published in the 2015 book Monster Maker: Keizo Murase - Treasured KAIJU Photobook.[2] After working for Daiei on Gamera the Giant Monster, he, Masao Yagi, and Toru Suzuki founded the modeling company Ex Productions, which he left in 1972 to form another company, Twenty.
