The Giant Starfish is a mutated Starfish monster created by Hanna-Barbera that first appeared in episode 23 of the 1979 Hanna-Barbera series, Godzilla, titled "The Macro-Beasts."

The Giant Starfish was among several marine animals enlarged to giant size, thanks to recent volcanic eruptions and a mysterious underground substance emerging from Capaldi Island; a relatively young formation which itself was created by the aforementioned geological activity. The Giant Starfish is seen very briefly, twice to be exact. Once you will see it laying on the ground underneath the Giant Sea Turtle and imidetly after you'll see it just standing and avoiding the other Macro-Beats.
