Balkzardan (バルグザーダン,   Baruguzādan) is a lightning kaiju that appeared in the 1998 video game, Godzilla: Trading Battle.


Balkzardan is referred to in Japanese as "Balgzardan" (バルグザーダン,   Baruguzādan) on his in-game card, though the game's opening cinematic writes it as "Balkzardan" in English. The book Godzilla 1954-1999 Super Complete Works uses "Balkzardan" (バルクザーダン,   Barukuzādan) in Japanese.[1]


Balkzardan has a shark-like head and a body that resembles a mammalian carnivore such as a wolf or a cheetah, appropriate given its extreme speed.


Spark Dash

Balkzardan can charge its entire body with electricity as to ram into his enemies in a move called the Spark Dash. This attack covers the target with sparks and explosions.

Tornado Bolt

Balkzardan can fire beams of electricity called the Tornado Bolt from his tusks.

Weather control

Balkzardan can control the weather in the immediate vicinity.


Balkzardan has a massive thunderstorm swirling around it for miles.

S Thunder

Balkzardan can form a defensive ice shield called the S Thunder.

Electron absorption

Balkzardan collects electrons through an apparatus on its tail, and the wing-like projections on its back store the electrons.


Balkzardan can move at Mach 3 on land.
