The Giant Tropical Fish is a mutated Tropical Fish monster created by Hanna-Barbera that first appeared in episode 23 of the 1979 Hanna-Barbera series, Godzilla, titled "The Macro-Beasts."

The Giant Tropical Fish was among several marine animals enlarged to giant size, thanks to recent volcanic eruptions and a mysterious underground substance emerging from Capaldi Island; a relatively young formation which itself was created by the aforementioned geological activity. The Giant Tropical Fish plays a vital role in the discovery of the Super-Food mutagen ass it is witnessed, by Dr. Quinn and Brock, in its size increase. Other members of its species can be seen in the coral corral.
