Macro Squid

The Macro Squid is a mutated Squid monster created by Hanna-Barbera that first appeared in episode 23 of the 1979 Hanna-Barbera series, Godzilla, titled "The Macro-Beasts."

The Macro Squid were among several marine animals enlarged to giant size, thanks to recent volcanic eruptions and a mysterious underground substance emerging from Capaldi Island; a relatively young formation which itself was created by the aforementioned geological activity. The Giant Swordfish was seen very briefly along with the Giant Shark and the Giant Swordfish as they were being corraled into the Coral Corral be Capt. Major and Brock.
