Skullcrawlers are giant two-legged reptilian Template:Kaiju that first appeared in the 2017 King Kong Template:FilmC, Kong: Skull Island.
Appearance
Skullcrawlers are large serpentine creatures with only two long forelimbs and no hind limbs. Several aspects of their appearance are noticeably skeletal, particularly their backs and their heads. Their heads closely resemble those of mosasaurs, particularly the mosasaur Tylosaurus. Additionally, the Skullcrawlers have four digits in total on each hand, with the thumb being the smallest digit and the rest of the digits being larger and of the same size.
There seem to be two types of Skullcrawlers. One type is large enough to fit inside the eye socket of the skull of a member of King Kong's species, while the other is as large as Kong himself and has spikes on their elbows.
Abilities
Skullcrawlers are subterranean-dwelling creatures with such an insatiable appetite that they are considered "hypervores".[1] They possess a prehensile triple-forked tongue that acts similarly in function to a chameleon's, which they can use to grab prey.
