- Beisuke Jinguji: “What is that?”
- Zagreth: “My Infrared Auto-Blaster. If anything gives off heat near it, whether monster or robot, it'll pinpoint their exact location and attack! Now you get it, don't you? You'll never save Junior! Why don't you pack your suitcase and say goodbye? You've only got twelve hours left.”
- ― Zagreth telling Beisuke Jinguji about the Infrared Auto-Blaster (Godzilla Island episode 26, "The Impregnable Stronghold")
The Infrared Auto-Blaster (赤外線式自動砲 Sekigaisen-shiki Jidō-hō) is a fictional Xilien superweapon that first appeared in episode 26 of Godzilla Island, "The Impregnable Stronghold". After Junior was abducted by the Xilien pawn Megalon and placed in a cage on Matango Island, the Infrared Auto-Blaster was later placed by the cage to increase security following a failed rescue attempt by G-Guard. Though highly effective against Godzilla, the Auto-Blaster malfunctioned when Mother Mothra used her pollen against it and in this state it was destroyed by Godzilla.
Name
The Infrared Auto-Blaster's name is derived from its ability to detect heat, presumably using infrared homing to track targets.

Origins
The Infrared Auto-Blaster was deployed by the Xilien Zagreth to further defend Junior's cage. Any other details about the Auto-Blaster, including how it was created, are not known.

Godzilla Island
Junior Kidnapped
Following a failed rescue attempt by G-Guard to save Junior from the clutches of the Xiliens, the Xilien Commander Zagreth placed the Infrared Auto-Blaster next to the cage to increase security in addition to Megalon guarding the cage. Zagreth gloated about the weapon and its capabilities to G-Guard Commander Beisuke Jinguji and warns them they only have twelve hours left for G-Guard to disarm and leave Godzilla Island or Junior will be killed. Godzilla then made landfall on Matango Island where Junior's cage was and made a desperate attempt to save his son from the Xiliens despite warnings from Torema that his atomic breath wouldn't reach far enough to destroy the weapon before it fired upon him, promptly being fired upon by the Auto-Blaster. The ray caused numerous explosions upon contact with Godzilla and forced him to the ground, with the monster king continuing to try to reach Junior's cage despite Jinguji and Torema both telling him to fall back until his ally Rodan picked him up and flew him back to Godzilla Island.
With this defeat, Jinguji reluctantly decided to raise the white flag and the organization prepared to leave the island as Zagreth reacted with glee but Torema and Mother Mothra came up with a plan to defeat the Auto-Blaster and save Junior. Mothra flew towards the Auto-Blaster and emitted her pollen, causing the Auto-Blaster to malfunction and fire wildly as it completely missed Mothra, almost hit Megalon and struck the Vabaruda. As Godzilla moved to destroy the weapon, the Auto-Blaster hit Battra as he battled Rodan in the air and knocked the Xilien pawn out of the sky. With this, Godzilla blasted the Auto-Blaster with atomic breath and destroyed it.
After Zagreth unleashed her last resort, Destoroyah, against G-Guard and its allies, Godzilla ended the battle by throwing Destoroyah in front of the damaged Auto-Blaster. The weapon then fired on Destoroyah and killed him in a giant explosion.
SpaceGodzilla's Spirit
The Infrared Auto-Blaster appeared in a flashback as Torema, Lucas, and Jinguji recalled Godzilla's many battles.
Capabilities
Heat-seeking
The Infrared Auto-Blaster is capable of detecting the heat from both monsters and robots, allowing it to pinpoint their exact location and fire accordingly.
Ray
The Infrared Auto-Blaster's white ray was powerful enough to harm Godzilla, damage the Vabaruda and knock Battra out of the sky. A point-blank blast was even enough to kill Destoroyah.
Weaknesses
Mother Mothra's pollen interfered with the weapon's sensors and caused it to fire wildly, accidently striking the Vabaruda and Battra while missing its actual targets. A blast of Godzilla's atomic breath was also enough to destroy the Auto-Blaster, though it was still capable of firing even in this state.
