The Kakasa makes a cameo when all the various Yokai including the Kappa plan on what to do against the threat of being turned into mindless machines. It complained that it already partook in one war and that was enough. It later was summoned to the giant festival mistakenly being held on the antagonist base, carrying Aburasumashi in a similar fashion it did when it partook in the war against Daimon.

Gegege no Kitaro

In the 2007 live action Gegege no Kitaro film, the Kakasa was one of the yokai causing trouble for humans, running around and scaring them, and it took Kitaro's rocket propelled sandal to scare it off.
